2 Ripe Avocados
3tbsp Cocoa Powder
2tbsp Runny Honey
Zest and Juice from 1 Orange
A healthy chocolate mousse? It can’t be done, surely. Well, we’re here to prove you wrong with this one. Not only is it dairy-free and suitable for vegans, this can also provide everyone else with a healthy alternative if they’ve got a sweet craving but don’t want to indulge too much. Don’t knock our Avocado Chocolate Mousse until you’ve tried it.

2 Ripe Avocados
3tbsp Cocoa Powder
2tbsp Runny Honey
Zest and Juice from 1 Orange
1. Cut each avocado in half and remove the stones. Scoop the flesh out of the skin and put in a blender.
2. Put aside some of the orange zest (either as curls or fine gratings) and put the rest of the ingredients in the blender.
3. Whizz everything together until you have a smooth mousse consistency. Add more honey and/or cocoa if you think it requires extra sweetness or chocolate flavour.
4. Serve in tall glasses or ramekins and garnish with the remaining orange zest.
